Legal Help

We give free and confidential legal help to migrants with a problem at work.

Our services are available to workers in Victoria who were born overseas and who have experienced exploitation, mistreatment, disadvantage or unfairness in the workplace or breaches of their workplace rights.

As a charity, we prioritise helping people who are most in need. We prioritise people who are not able to represent themselves or who experience barriers to accessing justice.

Please note, while we do our best to prioritise urgent matters, we cannot provide same day legal advice and usually have a wait list for an appointment of at least two weeks (often longer).

If you have an injury or illness because of your work, we can refer you to someone who can help you.

We generally cannot help you with migration law, but we can try to refer you to someone who can. If you have a migration law issue that is connected to you being exploited at work, we may be able to help you.
